Easter Sunday

To come home.
To stand in the house looking at each other, loving these four walls and what they hold.
To make scrambled eggs.
To say "eat your chocolate in the garden" and have a garden to eat chocolate in.
To sit in silence as night falls.
To have a second cup of tea.
To have faith.
To rest in that and wish you all a good night.
And a Happy Easter.

Your Easter eggs are beautiful! Some of them look like what we grew up dying with onion skins. I don't see this type very often. I grew up believing they were Latvian Easter eggs. Since then I've learned other cultures use a similar method. It seems your holiday has been quite lovely.

And Happy Easter to you. Hope all is good.

Denise! Thank you. I did dye them with onion skins and wrapped them in tin foil before boiling. I love them. They're almost too pretty to eat. The blue and green one are made of wood and look Russian/Latvian/Eastern Europe to my Scandi eye. Thanks for reading!
